Good evening,

Despite its limitations as a small state whose prosperity has depended on a global order that is now fraying, Singapore cannot afford to be a passive bystander in an evolving landscape and must actively shape its own destiny, said Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. Delivering the 14th S. Rajaratnam Lecture, PM Wong detailed the steps his Government will take to navigate an increasingly fragmented world. More details in the report.

In other news, a total of 18,232 certificates of entitlement (COEs) will be available for tender from May to July, the Land Transport Authority said today. This is an increase of 1,099 COEs, or 6.4 per cent, from 17,133 COEs that were available from February to April.
