A multitude of mourners, including world leaders and pilgrims, gathered in Vatican City today for Pope Francis' funeral. Catholics in Singapore paid tribute to a pope who championed unity and hope, and who emphasised dialogue and understanding between different religious communities. The Argentine pontiff died on April 21 at the age of 88.

In other news, more than $51,000 worth of sexual enhancement prescription medicine, manufacturing equipment and 30 vapes were seized from a Housing Board flat in Tiong Bahru following a raid by the Health Sciences Authority. According to the authority, this is the first case involving the illegal manufacture of sexual enhancement medicines in Singapore.
